Army Captain Selph-Wheelchairs for Afghanistan

Help Army Cpt. Terri Selph provide wheelchairs to Afghans injured by land mines

An unfortunate by product of the years of war in Afghanistan are the many wounded adults and children. Many Afghans have lost limbs due to land mines and adequate resources to care for these people are hard to come by for the hospitals and healthcare staff that work to treat these innocent victims of a country at war. Army Captain Terri Selph would like to help alleviate some of the suffering by providing wheelchairs so that amputees can regain some mobility. With your support of this project, Spirit of America will ship wheelchairs courtesy of SpinLife to Cpt. Selph.

Captain Selph's original request
I see from reading part of your website that donations have been reaching Afghanistan thanks to all of you and your supporters! Thank you so much. I am interested in finding out about wheelchair donations for local Afghans (adults and children) who lose their legs from land mine incidents. An Egyptian Hospital representative contacted me recently referencing the need for wheelchairs for these type of injuries. Opportunities in Afghanistan are already few and far between and once these incidents occur, they become even more limited due to immobility and, of course, physical limitations as well. If you have any ideas or information you can provide so that I can make this happen, I would really appreciate it! Thank you in advance for your help!
