Military Chaplains Help With Hearts for Baghdad

Support a clinic at Camp Victory that treats over 1200 Iraqis monthly

There are many innocent people who need basic quality of life support here in Iraq. A Civil Military Affairs Operation Center (CMOC) operates a medical/dental clinic at Radwaniya on Camp Victory, Baghdad. US service members volunteer to provide medical and dental care to the clinic. They have created an outreach program called "Hearts for Baghdad" to secure needed supplies for the clinic. SoA is working through Lieutenant Commander Dan Stallard, a military chaplain stationed at Camp Victory, to provide for these basic needs along with vital medical equipment.

Hearts for Baghdad Mission
The Hearts for Baghdad mission is "helping meet the quality of life needs of the children and families of Iraq through caring, giving and loving others. Through the clinic, CMOC personnel reach out to over 1200 Iraq women, men and children each month providing basic medical and dental services: hygiene, medical and school supplies, clothing and shoes. All of the supplies are provided by volunteer donors like you. The medical and dental staff are service members who donate time and skills along with other service members who help give out and sort the supplies.
In addition to the fundamental supplies, SoA would like to support the clinic with vital medical equipment identified by LCDR Stallard as a priority such as an ultra-sound machine, ECG machine, glucometer and suturing equipment.
